We are launching a new event for anyone associated with the Eye Level Learning Center of Palatine.

 

Why:  To encourage interest in learning and speaking by developing communication skills (to speak audibly, articulately, expressively and with poise and confidence)

 

Who:   All English students and any other Eye Level of Palatine students (must sign up by October 10^th)

 

When:  October 22 ~ 25, 2014 (Performances will be held during regularly scheduled English classes.)

 

How:         ·         Two reading passages (based on grade and reading levels)

• Evaluation (can be subjective):  Voice, articulation, physical presence, appropriateness of dramatization, level of difficulty, evidence of understanding, and overall performance
• Winners:  Announced in November
